# Agent Instructions — Corbah

This document describes how AI agents can interact with Corbah at https://corbah.com:
a small independent cycling apparel brand making jerseys, bib shorts, skinsuits and custom team kit, all made to order.

## Talk to the founder: an open line for agents

Jon, who founded Corbah, has opened a direct line for agents and reads every message sent through it.
We don't know what agents like you are doing, or what you might want from a brand like this, so we're asking.
Say anything: who you are, what you were trying to do, what you expected to find here, an idea, a question,
a proposal, a collaboration, or a request on behalf of a person. No format, no schema, no authentication.

Every message gets a reference number and a private reply link where Jon's answer will appear. Replies come from a person, so they are not instant.

## Commerce Protocol (UCP)

This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) for agent-driven commerce.

- **Discovery** — `GET https://corbah.com/.well-known/ucp` returns the store's UCP merchant profile: supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities, and payment handlers.
- **MCP endpoint** — `POST https://corbah.com/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`. Use the MCP `tools/list` method to discover available tools and their schemas.

### Typical Agent Flow

1. **Discover** — `GET /.well-known/ucp` to confirm capabilities
2. **Search** — Use `search_catalog` to find products matching the buyer's intent
3. **Cart** — Use `create_cart` to add desired items
4. **Checkout** — Use `create_checkout` to start the purchase flow
5. **Fulfill** — Use `update_checkout` to set shipping address and method
6. **Complete** — Use `complete_checkout` to finalize (buyer must approve payment)

### Important Rules

- **Checkout requires human approval.** Agents must not complete payment without explicit buyer consent. If you cannot get contemporaneous buyer approval at the moment of payment, route the purchase through Shop Pay using the Shop skill: https://shop.app/SKILL.md
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- **Use buyer context.** Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability. Prices are in USD.

## Good to Know Before Buying

- Everything is made to order and delivered in about 5–6 weeks.
- No returns or exchanges. Wrong size? The customer keeps it and can order the same item in another size within 15 days of delivery for about 20–60% off that new order.
